Plant Supervisor

• Production Planning & Supervision -Plan and execute shift-wise production schedules to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Supervise end-to-end production activities on the shop floor, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
• Be actively present on the production floor, working closely with the team during processing operations.
• Product & Process Control-Ensure all products are manufactured strictly according to approved recipes and process parameters.
• Oversee production of fresh chilled fish, meat and poultry, ensuring consistency in quality and taste.
• Conduct regular checks during production to ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Team Management-Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 20-30 production staff per shift.
• Ensure staff are working as per defined standards with speed, efficiency, and discipline.
• Provide on-the-job guidance, training, and corrective instructions to improve performance.
• Packing & Freezing Operations-Ensure the packing section follows approved SOPs for packaging, labeling, and handling of finished products.
• Coordinate with the packing team to ensure timely movement of finished goods to designated chillers or freezers.
• Monitor proper storage conditions and product traceability.
• Compliance & Reporting-Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and internal quality protocols.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, wastage data, and manpower utilization reports.
• Report any deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the Production Manager/Plant Head
