Job Description

Principal Product Manager

The Oracle APEX Product Management team is looking for an experienced Product Manager, with deep hands-on mastery of the platform, to be the face of Oracle APEX across the entire customer journey, from first discovery conversation through deployment and beyond. You'll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Pre-Sales, Oracle Consulting, and Field teams to run compelling demos, support proof-of-concept engagements, and help customers see and realize, what's possible with Oracle APEX.

This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role. You'll sit in front of executives and decision-makers, lead technical deep dives, and champion Oracle APEX in the market through customer references, success stories, and community engagement. You'll also contribute to product collateral including workshops, LiveLabs, learning paths, certification, and videos, that fuels adoption at scale. If you love building relationships, telling great stories, and being the go-to advocate for a platform millions of developers rely on, this role is built for you.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

  • 5–10+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Marketing, Developer Relations, Customer Success, Technical Consulting, or a related role.

  • Strong technical expertise in Oracle Database technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, relational database design, data modeling, and database development best practices.

  • Deep hands-on experience with Oracle APEX application development.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage executives, architects, developers, and business audiences alike.

  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers, partners, and developer communities.

  • Experience supporting customer POCs, onboarding, and enablement programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud technologies is a plus

Pre-Sales, Sales & Field Support (Primary Focus)

  • Serve as the primary Oracle APEX advocate throughout the customer journey.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Oracle Consulting teams to support opportunities from first conversation to close.
  • Deliver presentations, tailored use-case demos, capability briefings, and live feature deep dives that showcase the power of Oracle APEX.
  • Lead executive and decision-maker sessions, architecture and solution design discussions, and technical Q&A to validate solutions.
  • Drive Proof-of-Concept (POC) initiatives from kickoff through successful outcome.
  • Support customer onboarding and enablement, recurring strategic meetings for key accounts, and application reviews with constructive feedback.
  • Provide ongoing advisory support as customer use cases expand and evolve.

Partner & Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and partners across the full lifecycle, from POC through deployment and beyond.
  • Deliver customized workshops (onsite or virtual) and share best practices and strategic advisory to strengthen customer outcomes.
  • Capture customer feedback and champion product insights with Engineering.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external customer engagement at every stage of adoption.

Product Evangelism & Community

  • Champion Oracle APEX through customer references, success stories, and public advocacy content.
  • Support developer engagement and APEX education initiatives, including Oracle APEX at University programs.
  • Contribute to workshops, LiveLabs, learning paths, certification programs, and videos that scale enablement across the ecosystem.
