Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Supervisor / Project Coordinator to manage day-to-day painting project execution at customer sites. The person will be responsible for site surveys, coordinating painters and subcontractors, monitoring work quality and progress, managing materials, maintaining site discipline, and ensuring projects are completed on time as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

• Visit and supervise painting project sites on a daily basis.
• Ensure painting work is carried out as per the approved scope and specifications.
• Monitor surface preparation, putty, primer, painting, finishing and touch-up work.
• Ensure proper protection of furniture, flooring, doors, windows and other areas before painting.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.

2. Manpower Management

• Coordinate painters, helpers and subcontractors at project sites.
• Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
• Ensure adequate manpower is available as per project requirements.
• Track attendance and daily manpower deployment.
• Maintain discipline and professional behaviour at customer locations.

3. Project Coordination

• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly work schedules.
• Track project progress against planned timelines.
• Coordinate with customers regarding site access, work schedules and project requirements.
• Escalate delays, quality issues or additional requirements to the Project Manager/Management.
• Ensure projects are completed within the committed timeline.

4. Material Management

• Check material requirements before and during project execution.
• Coordinate with the office/team for timely material delivery.
• Monitor consumption of paint, putty, primer and other materials.
• Avoid material wastage and maintain proper storage at site.
• Verify materials received against requirements.

5. Quality Control

• Inspect work at every stage of the painting process.
• Ensure proper surface preparation and finishing.
• Identify defects such as uneven finish, patches, shade variation, paint marks or improper application.
• Coordinate rectification and touch-up work before final handover.
• Ensure the completed work meets Focal Space quality standards.

6. Customer Coordination

• Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Understand and communicate customer requirements to the site team.
• Provide regular project progress updates.
• Handle minor site-level customer concerns professionally and escalate major issues when required.
• Coordinate final inspection and project handover.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Submit daily site progress reports with photographs.
• Maintain project attendance and manpower records.
• Record material usage and additional requirements.
• Report project delays, site issues and customer feedback.
• Maintain before-and-after project photographs for company records and marketing purposes.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of painting and surface preparation processes.
• Basic understanding of interior and exterior painting work.
• Good manpower and site management skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to read and understand basic work specifications.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp.
• Ability to prepare simple daily project reports.
• Strong attention to quality and finishing.
• Ability to manage multiple sites when required.
• Problem-solving and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in painting, interior, construction, waterproofing, or related site execution.
• Experience handling painters/subcontractors.
• Experience working at residential and commercial project sites.
• Candidates with experience in professional painting companies will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / Graduate preferred.
• Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualification.

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to travel to project sites across Hyderabad.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
• Must be comfortable working at customer locations.
• Should maintain professional appearance, behaviour and communication.
