As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating with partners and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of critical business projects. Project Managers will adeptly navigate obstacles and work closely with functional team members to guide each project to completion. This role requires cross-functional collaboration and impeccable organization skills to deliver projects in a timely manner and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of project management or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 5+ years of project management or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of project management or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

General overview:

The Central Hardware Systems (CHS) operations team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our org. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to succeed and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional, and cross-geo setting. This role involves working closely with various functional teams to drive various projects and initiatives, as well as collaborating with external program managers within Qualcomm. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, managing change requests, and recommending and implementing alternative system management tools to meet core business objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, define, and execute plans of record, including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks.

• Manage software and hardware feature requests by monitoring new requests, working with internal functional teams to scope out feature plans, schedules, and resource needs, and representing these in external forums.

• Create executive-level PowerPoint slides for new project proposals.

• Collaborate with leadership across regions to identify gaps in workflows and propose efficient solutions.

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards using data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.

• Drive product reviews across various core meetings, capture meeting minutes, and track action items.

• Assist with implementing new and established processes and methods, such as tracking tools, schedules, databases, and documentation management systems.

• Support project planning activities, including creating plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.

• Create new workflows using Power Automate for new and existing SharePoint lists.

• Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct regular project status reviews and provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Overall more than 10 years of Industry experience

• Minimum of 2+ years of Project Management or related work experience

• 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization

• 1+ year experience with project/program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry and understanding of semiconductor life cycle

• Strong presentation skills, excellent analytical skills, and eye for detail.

• Experience with SharePoint lists, Power Automate, Custom apps and data analytic tools

• Previous SW programming and/or scripting experience is a plus
