Purchase Executive – Job DescriptionPosition: Purchase Executive

Location: Gachibowli, Hyderabad

Experience: 2–5 Years

Industry: Construction / Façade / Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end purchase activities for construction and engineering materials.
• Identify and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Site, QS, Stores, Accounts and Project teams for material requirements.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase orders and purchase-related documents.
• Track material delivery and ensure materials are received as per requirement.
• Monitor purchase costs and support cost-effective procurement.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Handle urgent site material requirements and ensure timely procurement.

• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Vendor management
• Knowledge of construction/engineering materials
• MS Excel and MS Office
• Purchase documentation and MIS reporting
• Good coordination and follow-up skills
• Ability to work under deadlines

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / Any relevant degree preferred.
