Restaurant Cashier

Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a responsible, honest, and customer-friendly Cashier to manage daily billing, customer payments, and counter operations at our restaurant.

The ideal candidate should have basic computer knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to handle cash and digital payments accurately.

• Key Responsibilities: Handle customer billing using POS billing software.
• Accept cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
• Generate accurate bills and invoices for dine-in, takeaway, and online orders.
• Manage cash at the counter and maintain daily cash records.
• Verify daily sales, cash collections, and digital payment transactions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and service staff regarding customer orders.
• Handle Swiggy and Zomato orders and billing, if required.
• Maintain proper records of daily sales and report discrepancies to the manager.
• Ensure the billing counter is clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Provide polite and professional customer service.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass preferred.
• Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant, café, hotel, or QSR is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing/POS software.
• Knowledge of UPI, cash handling, and card payment machines.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and daily sales reporting is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Telugu and Hindi; basic English is preferred.
• Must be honest, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
