Job Description
- Team Management: Build, train, and manage a field sales team of roughly 12 to 15 sales executives or field agents. [1]
- Merchant Acquisition: Drive targets for onboarding new merchants onto the Google Pay ecosystem, including UPI QR codes and Soundbox devices. [1, 2]
- Performance Tracking: Monitor daily sales activity, evaluate individual metrics, assign daily routes/tasks, and compile end-of-day (EOD) reporting for Assistant Sales Managers (ASMs). [1]
- Field Support: Accompany team members in the field when needed, resolve on-ground merchant escalations, and manage sales inventory (QR standees, marketing kits). [1]
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of experience in field sales, channel sales, or team-handling roles—preferably within fintech, payments, or banking (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BharatPe). [1, 2]
- Mobility: Must own a 2-wheeler vehicle and hold a valid driving license, with a willingness to travel daily within the assigned local region. [1, 2, 3]
- Language Skills: Proficiency in local/regional languages alongside basic communication abilities. [1]
- Education: Graduate or equivalent practical experience in sales
