Position Purpose and Nature

• Responsible for overall performance of Security of the site

Key Accountabilities and Duties

• Accountable for the overall security of the building and parking facilities.
• Responsible for the development and enforcement of security policies
• Accountable for the timely reporting and investigation of security incidents.
• Ensure legal compliance with security-related regulations.
• Accountable for the success of safety campaigns and initiatives.
• Responsible for the effective management and control of security equipment.
• Accountable for the proper execution of fire safety measures and evacuation plans.
• Responsible for stakeholder engagement regarding security concerns.
• Accountable for maintaining a hygienic and disciplined work environment within the security team.
• Responsible for the accurate management of security assets.

Authority

• Authority to enforce compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Authority to initiate and lead emergency responses within the security department.
• Authority to conduct security audits and assessments.
• Authority to allocate resources for security-related activities
• Authority to implement disciplinary actions in cases of non-compliance with security protocols.

OHS&W Responsibility

• Ensure compliance with EHS standards in security operations.
• Identify and address potential hazards within the security department
• Promote and support employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Advocate for environmentally friendly materials and practices.
• Participate in EHS-related audits and assessments.
• Implement measures to reduce risks and enhance safety in security operations.
• Incorporate wellbeing considerations into security planning and activities.
• Monitor the health of security personnel and provide necessary support.
• Engage in safety discussions specific to security operations.
• Contribute to the development and execution of safety campaigns.
• Actively participate in 5S initiatives to maintain cleanliness and discipline within the security department
• IMS Responsibilities
• Determine issues, needs and expectations of interested parties
• Determine aspect-impacts including significant aspects and implement relevant controls
• Determine hazards-risk including significant hazards and implement controls
• Maintain and update aspect-impact register and HIRA register.
• Planning to achieve IMS objectives as set by management
• Complying with all applicable legal requirements
• Identify training needs and attend trainings as planned.
• Maintain records of external communication if any
• Maintain & retain documented information
• Manage changes in a structured manner
• Waste management and disposal
• Determine emergencies and test all emergencies
• Participate in mock drills
• Report near misses
• Participate in incident investigation
• Undertake continual improvements

People Management Responsibilities

• Able to lead site team to run the Security Operations smoothly
• Staff’s discipline and well being.
