Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Chef to lead culinary operations across our central kitchen and outlets. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in large-scale food production, menu development, recipe standardization, food costing, and team management, ensuring consistent quality, operational efficiency, and commercially viable food production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage culinary operations across the central kitchen and outlets.
• Develop, refine, and standardize menus, recipes, cooking methods, and presentation standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion sizes, and presentation across all locations.
• Collaborate with the R&D team on product development, food trials, and commercial-scale production.
• Establish recipe cards, SOPs, and standardized kitchen processes.
• Monitor food costs, yields, wastage, portion control, and kitchen productivity.
• Coordinate with Procurement on ingredient specifications, vendor quality, and suitable alternatives.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Conduct kitchen audits and implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and mentor chefs and kitchen teams.
• Plan manpower, production schedules, kitchen workflows, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain teams for product launches and execution.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve consistency, scalability, and profitability.
• Keep up with culinary trends, ingredients, techniques, and customer preferences.

Candidate Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive culinary experience in QSR chains, restaurants, central kitchens, hotels, catering, FMCG, or food manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing large kitchen teams and high-volume food production.
• Strong expertise in Indian and/or international cuisines.
• Excellent knowledge of recipe standardization, food costing, yield management, and portion control.
• Experience in central kitchen operations and multi-outlet food production.
• Hands-on leadership skills with a strong focus on food quality and consistency.
• Excellent team management, training, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance quality, cost, scalability, and customer expectations.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in central kitchens, QSR chains, food manufacturing, institutional catering, or multi-outlet restaurant operations will be preferred.
