Site Supervisor

Role Overview

You will be the operational backbone of Texo's manufacturing floor. You will manage daily production operations across multiple active units simultaneously, coordinate manpower, supervise site installations, and ensure every module that leaves the factory meets Texo's quality standard.

You will work in close coordination with the COO on production planning, scheduling, and manpower allocation — and will be expected to handle day-to-day operational challenges independently without escalating every decision upward.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Production Management

• Manage daily operations across all active production modules on the factory floor — from raw material stage through to dispatch-ready completion
• Allocate and manage factory manpower across fabrication, welding, panel fitting, insulation, MEP, carpentry, and finishing stages based on production priority
• Coordinate with the COO on weekly production schedules, delivery timelines, and manpower planning
• Ensure every unit progresses through production stages on schedule — identify bottlenecks early and resolve them before they impact delivery dates

Technical Execution

• Apply clear working knowledge of prefabrication systems, modular construction methods, steel framing, insulation systems, and interior finishing
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, architectural layouts, and site plans for production execution
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless module production — from steel fabrication through to final fit-out

Quality Control and Handover

• Conduct stage-wise quality checks throughout production — structural, cladding, insulation, MEP, flooring, and finishing
• Conduct final quality inspection of every module before dispatch — dimensional verification, MEP functional test, finish audit, waterproofing check
• Ensure all modules meet Texo's quality specification at the time of handover — zero defect dispatch is the standard

Site Supervision

• Supervise installation of completed modules at client sites — locally in Hyderabad and outstation as required
• Manage site manpower allocation and contractor coordination during installation
• Ensure installation is completed to specification and conduct handover inspection with the client

Interior Finishing Coordination

• Oversee interior finishing works — flooring, doors, windows, painting, MEP fit-out, sanitary fixtures
• Coordinate with finishing contractors and ensure work meets the approved design and quality standard

Daily Operations and Firefighting

• Handle day-to-day operational challenges on the floor — material shortfalls, manpower issues, contractor delays, quality problems — with a bias toward immediate resolution
• Maintain daily production logs and submit end-of-day status to the COO
• Escalate only decisions that are above operational authority — handle everything else independently

What We Are Looking For

Technical Knowledge — Must Have

• Hands-on understanding of prefabricated and modular construction — steel framing, MS sections, insulation systems (rockwool, PUF), wall and roof panel systems
• Ability to read fabrication and architectural drawings without assistance
• Knowledge of interior finishing works — tiles, doors, windows, paint, MEP rough-in and fit-out
• Welding inspection capability — ability to assess weld quality on the floor
• Site supervision experience — has managed installation or erection works at project sites

Operational Skills

• Experience managing a team of 10 to 30 workers on a production floor or construction site
• Comfortable with daily firefighting — material shortfalls, contractor issues, schedule slippage — and resolves them without hand-holding
• Strong coordination skills — ability to manage multiple contractors, vendors, and internal teams simultaneously

Communication

• Fluent in Telugu and Hindi — factory floor communication is in local languages
• Basic English for documentation, email, and reporting to management

Background — Preferred Industries

We will prioritise candidates from the following backgrounds:

• Prefab or modular construction manufacturing
• Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) — companies like Pennar, Kirby, Everest, Zamil, BlueScope
• Steel fabrication and structural erection
• Container modification or sandwich panel / PUF panel manufacturing
• Interior contracting with site supervision experience in construction
