Soft Skills Training & Internal Audit Specialist

A Soft Skills Training Specialist for Internal Auditors designs and delivers communication, empathy, and advisory coaching to help product and process auditors build trust and handle difficult conversations. We are seeking an experienced Soft Skills Training Specialist with a strong understanding of corporate governance, product and process Internal Auditor/Soft Skill Training. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical auditing and human interaction. You will train our internal teams in a fast-paced BPO setup to transform from compliance "adversaries" into trusted business advisors. You will focus on active listening, assertive communication, negotiation and patient handling technics.

Key Responsibilities Curriculum Design:

Develop and update customized soft skills training modules specifically tailored for internal auditors (e.g., delivering negative audit findings without creating defensiveness, interviewing techniques for process).

Interactive Training Delivery: Conduct engaging workshops, role-playing sessions, and simulations on active listening, emotional intelligence, and small-talk/rapport-building.

Coaching & Shadowing: Shadow auditors during mock or live client interviews and patient meetings to provide actionable, real-time feedback on communication styles and professional presence.

Conflict Resolution & Negotiation Training: Equip auditors with strategies to navigate pushback, manage difficult conversations, and reach constructive agreements with process owners during audits.

Presentation Skills Enhancement: Train teams to design and deliver high-impact, non-monotonous audit presentation decks that hold patient attention and drive executive action.

Impact Assessment: Measure the effectiveness of training programs through post-training evaluations, patient feedback scores, and improvements in audit closure turnaround times.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum graduation with 5-10 years of corporate training experience, preferably within a BPO and audit services environment trainings into the corporates or healthcare sectors.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex behavioural concepts.

High self-awareness and the ability to teach empathy, tone modulation, and cultural sensitivity across organisation groups.

Familiarity with metrics-driven corporate environments, patient escalations, and virtual/patient management.

Preferred Qualifications Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CIPLp) or equivalent training certification.

Prior exposure to internal audit frameworks. Having healthcare sector add advantage.
