Specialist - System Management
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator with strong expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server WAS Oracle WebLogic Server and IBM HTTP Server IHS The candidate will be responsible for installation configuration administration troubleshooting performance tuning deployment support and high availability management of middleware environments across production and nonproduction systems
Key Responsibilities
Install configure administer and support IBM WebSphere Application Server Oracle WebLogic Server and IBM HTTP Server IHS
Create and manage WebSphere Cells Nodes Clusters Deployment Managers and Application Server Profiles
Deploy and manage Java applications EARWARJAR across multiple environments
Configure WebSphere resources such as JDBC Providers Data Sources JMS Queues Connection Pools and Virtual Hosts
Perform WebLogic domain creation managed server administration clustering and application deployment
Configure and maintain IBM HTTP Server WebSphere Plugins SSL certificates and load balancing
Troubleshoot application middleware JVM memory thread and performancerelated issues
Generate and analyze logs heap dumps thread dumps and GC logs for root cause analysis
Perform middleware patching upgrades fix pack installations and vulnerability remediation
Configure security using LDAP SSL SSO and user authentication mechanisms
Monitor middleware environments and ensure high availability reliability and performance
Support production incidents problem management service requests and change management activities
Develop automation scripts using ShellPython for middleware operational tasks
Collaborate with application database network and infrastructure teams during deployments and troubleshooting
