Job Description
Perform fiber optic splicing using fusion splicing machines.
• Prepare fiber cables (stripping, cleaning, cleaving) before splicing.
• Test fiber links using OTDR, power meter, and light source.
• Identify and troubleshoot fiber faults, signal loss, and network issues.
• Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic cables in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Maintain splice records, test reports, and as-built documentation.
• Work on FTTH, backbone, and last-mile connectivity projects.
• Ensure proper labeling and cable management.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures during field work.
• Coordinate with project engineers and network teams.
