Tally Accountant

JOB SUMMERY - Responsible for handles day-to-day accounting activities with Tally ERP software. new hires assist with processing bills, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. Candidates with familiarity with Tally software and a basic understanding of accounting principles are qualified for the position.

• keeping track of every day's sales, purchases, payments, and receipts in Tally ERP.
• Keeping track of ledgers, journals, and cash books.
• Managing GST entries, TDS deductions, and tax compliance.
• Preparing fundamental financial statements such as a profit and loss account and a balance sheet.
• Monitoring vendor accounts and bank statements.
• Assistance for senior accountants with reporting and audits.
• Skills RequiredExperience in Tally Prime and Tally ERP 9.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of taxes, TDS, and GST.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.

Maintain accounting records for showroom sales, wholesale sales and online/other sales channels, as applicable.

Coordinate with the warehouse regarding furniture stock movement, sales, returns and damages.

Verify customer advances and balance payments for furniture orders.

Track supplier payments and purchase invoices for furniture, accessories and related materials.

Reconcile showroom cash collections and daily sales with accounting records.

Monitor pending customer payments and supplier outstanding balances.
