Core Responsibilities

• Customer Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients through direct outreach, branch walk-ins, or channel partners like DSAs (Direct Selling Agents). [1, 2, 3]
• Needs Assessment: Evaluate customer financial requirements to pitch appropriate unsecured or secured loan options. [1, 2]
• Application Processing: Collect essential documentation (KYC, income proofs), check initial eligibility, and coordinate with underwriting or credit teams. [1, 2]
• Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly volume, revenue, and profitability quotas. [1, 2]
• Cross-Selling: Recommend ancillary financial offerings like credit cards, insurance, or other retail banking products. [1, 2]
• Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to encourage repeat business or referrals. [1]

✅ Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, or a related field (frequently preferred, though high school diplomas with strong sales backgrounds are common for entry-level roles).
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of proven experience in banking, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), or financial services sales.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to build rapport and explain complex lending terms clearly.
• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with CRM software, internal banking portals, and loan origination systems.
