About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Solar Sales Executive to join our team in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The role involves handling customers in the Australian solar market, understanding their energy requirements, explaining suitable solar and battery solutions, and converting enquiries/leads into successful sales.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to confidently communicate with Australian customers.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers in Australia.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar, battery, and EV charging solutions.

Explain solar system components, installation process, benefits, pricing, and available options to customers.

Follow up with leads and prospective customers through calls and messages.

Convert qualified leads into confirmed sales.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Coordinate with internal sales, design, installation, and customer service teams.

Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM.

Follow up regularly with customers to progress sales and address questions.

Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Provide a professional and positive customer experience.

Stay updated on Australian solar products, market trends, and basic installation requirements.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in sales, tele-sales, inside sales, or customer service.

Experience in the solar/renewable energy industry is preferred.

Excellent spoken and written English.

Strong communication and convincing skills.

Comfortable speaking with Australian customers.

Good negotiation and objection-handling skills.

Target-oriented and self-motivated.

Basic computer and CRM skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.

Willingness to work according to Australian business hours/time zones.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of residential solar systems.

Basic understanding of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and EV chargers.

Experience dealing with Australian customers.

Previous experience in Australian solar sales or Australian-market BPO/inside sales.

Ability to understand electricity bills and basic energy requirements.
