Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Operate conventional lathe machines.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, boring and related machining operations.
- Read mechanical drawings and understand dimensions/tolerances.
- Use vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Perform fitting, assembly, dismantling and alignment of mechanical components.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Handle pumps, valves, gearboxes and other mechanical equipment where required.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Follow production, quality and workplace safety procedures.
