About the Role

Point of View House is looking for a creative and technically strong Videographer who can turn ideas, people, businesses, and stories into high-quality visual content.

The role involves filming podcasts, founder-led content, client business videos, brand films, social media content, interviews, events, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production — Plan, shoot and deliver high-quality video content for Point of View House, its founder, clients and their businesses.
2. Founder Content — Shoot founder-led videos, thought-leadership content, interviews, reels and other personal-brand content.
3. Podcast Production — Handle multi-camera podcast shoots, framing, lighting, audio coordination and supporting footage.
4. Client Projects — Film businesses, products, services, offices, restaurants, events, customer experiences and other commercial content.
5. Creative Execution — Understand the objective of each shoot and translate concepts, scripts and creative briefs into compelling visuals.
6. Camera & Lighting — Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting and other production equipment while maintaining consistent visual quality.
7. Composition & Storytelling — Apply strong understanding of framing, camera movement, lighting, visual composition, B-roll and cinematic storytelling.
8. Pre-Production — Participate in shot planning, location scouting, equipment preparation, storyboarding and production planning.
9. Post-Production Coordination — Work closely with editors and designers to ensure footage is properly organized, labelled and delivered for editing.
10. Equipment Management — Properly handle, maintain, store and transport company/client cameras, lenses, lights, microphones, accessories and other production equipment.
11. Fast-Turnaround Content — Be capable of handling quick-turnaround shoots and content requirements without compromising production quality.
12. Trend & Format Awareness — Stay updated with emerging video formats, social-media trends, camera techniques and visual storytelling styles.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of professional cameras and lenses
• Understanding of lighting and audio fundamentals
• Strong framing and composition skills
• Experience with multi-camera shoots
• Knowledge of cinematic and social-media video production
• Ability to shoot both planned and spontaneous content
• Good understanding of B-roll and storytelling
• Ability to work independently on location
• Ability to work with founders, clients and production teams
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under deadlines

Preferred

• Experience shooting podcasts
• Experience with founder/personal-brand content
• Experience with commercial/client projects
• Experience with restaurants, hospitality, lifestyle or corporate brands
• Basic knowledge of video editing and colour correction
• Knowledge of gimbal, drone or other specialized equipment is an advantage

Equipment & Company Assets

The employee will be responsible for the safe handling, proper usage, maintenance and security of all company/client production equipment and assets assigned to them.

Any loss, damage, unauthorized use, lending or removal of company/client equipment must be immediately reported to management and handled in accordance with company policy.
