ERP Senior Specialist

Role purpose

Design, build, migrate, and support technical components required for the Fusion divestiture, including OTBI analyses, BI Publisher reports, data extracts, OIC integrations, APIs, automation scripts, conversion utilities, scheduling, monitoring, and cutover support.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and inventory source OTBI analyses, BI Publisher reports, data models, bursting schedules, integrations, APIs, extract jobs, OIC integrations, and technical dependencies.
• Build or modify BI Publisher data models and reports required for migration extracts, reconciliation, operational reporting, and go-live validation.
• Migrate, rebuild, or refactor OTBI analyses and dashboards for the divested organization, respecting new security and data access boundaries.
• Design and build OIC integrations for inbound/outbound interfaces, including error handling, retries, monitoring, scheduling, and secure credential management.
• Support automation of FBDI and HDL file upload, UCM interactions, ESS job submission, callbacks, error extraction, and load-status tracking.
• Develop APIs, scripts, or orchestration components for data extraction, transformation, file generation, report execution, and reconciliation where approved.
• Work with data migration leads to generate repeatable extract/load routines for mock conversions and cutover.
• Support security remediation for reports and integrations, including data roles, privileges, service users, certificates, keys, and endpoint access.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, scheduling, deployment, and defect remediation across technical components.
• Prepare technical runbooks, deployment instructions, rollback steps, monitoring dashboards, and hypercare support guides.

Required skills and experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion OTBI, BI Publisher, data models, bursting, scheduling, and report security.
• Experience developing Oracle Integration Cloud integrations with Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM adapters, REST/SOAP adapters, files, object storage, SFTP, and error handling.
• Knowledge of FBDI, HDL, UCM upload, ESS job submission, import status monitoring, and conversion automation patterns.
• Strong SQL, XML, XSL, data model, API, JSON, SOAP, REST, and integration troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Fusion security concepts, service accounts, roles, privileges, certificates, OAuth/basic authentication patterns, and environment-specific configuration.
• Experience with migration of reports and integrations between Fusion environments and across quarterly releases.
• Ability to support performance tuning for extracts, reports, integrations, and high-volume conversion windows.
• Strong documentation and operational handover skills.

• Technical inventory of OTBI, BI Publisher, OIC, API, extract, and scheduled job components.
• Migration extract reports, reconciliation reports, and operational reporting components.
• OIC integrations and interface migration/configuration package.
• FBDI/HDL upload and ESS job automation scripts or orchestration design.
• Technical deployment plan, environment configuration checklist, and rollback notes.
• Integration and report test evidence, defect log, and performance-tuning notes.
• Cutover monitoring and hypercare runbook.

Success measures

• Critical reports, extracts, and integrations are migrated or rebuilt by go-live.
• Conversion automation supports repeatable mock cycles and final cutover execution.
• Interfaces have clear monitoring, error handling, and support procedures.
• Reports and integrations operate within agreed performance and security standards.

Works closely with all Data Migration Specialists, Functional Leads, Reporting/EPM Specialist, Security, Environment Administrator, Integration Owners, and Cutover Manager.
