Unity Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Unity Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and deploying high-quality cross-platform interactive experiences, games, or simulations. You will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to translate design specifications into functional, well-documented, and highly optimized code.

Key Responsibilities

* Feature Development: Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems, interactive mechanics, and features using Unity and C#.

* Asset Integration: Import and integrate 3D/2D assets, multimedia files, animations, textures, and particle systems into Unity scenes and prefabs.

* Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, manage memory allocation, and optimize game scalability to maintain a stable, high frame rate across target devices.

* UI/UX Implementation: Build responsive menus, user interfaces, and interactive feedback systems within the Unity interface.

* Testing & Debugging: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix complex visual or logic bugs and technical issues discovered during QA cycles.

* Collaboration & Pipeline: Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and version control workflows to maintain code health and project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

* Core Engine Expertise: Proven experience working as a Unity or Unity3D developer with a solid portfolio of completed projects.

* Language Proficiency: Strong, production-level proficiency in C# scripting and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

* Game Mathematics & Physics: Solid foundational knowledge of 3D development, vector math, and integrated game physics.

* Version Control: Competency using version control systems, specifically Git, including handling large binary assets properly.

* Platform Experience: Experience developing and deploying for mobile (iOS/Android), PC, console, or standalone headsets.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR) platforms.

* Familiarity with multiplayer networking systems or WebSockets.

* In-depth knowledge of graphics optimization, custom shaders, and lighting.

* Understanding of modern Unity systems like the Entity Component System (ECS) or Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS)
