A civil site engineer manages and supervises daily construction activities on-site to ensure projects are built safely, correctly, and on schedule

Core Roles and Responsibilities

Technical and Planning Duties

• Interpret Drawings: Read architectural and structural plans to guide workers accurately.
• Site Surveying: Set out, level, and survey the land before and during construction.
• Quality Control: Check steel reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete strength before and during pours.

Management and Coordination

• Supervise Laborers: Direct subcontractors, craftspeople, and construction crews.
• Manage Materials: Order raw materials, check quality, and manage inventory.
• Track Progress: Monitor daily work schedules and report delays or updates to senior management.
