Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records in accordance with accounting principles.
• Prepare and verify ledgers, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Prepare GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory returns and ensure timely filing.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
• CA Inter or pursuing CA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an Indian corporate setup.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
