Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Envitech Solutions & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. runs Payrupya, a fintech platform offering AEPS, Micro ATM, travel and cash management services through a growing network of retailers and agents. We are building a lean, dependable finance function to support that growth. 

Role Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to own day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance and payroll-related calculations. You will keep our books accurate and up to date, file GST and TDS returns on time, manage PF/ESI compliance, and support month-end closing and audits. The role suits someone who has handled these areas hands-on and is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping 

• Maintain books of accounts, vouchers, ledgers and supporting records on a daily basis. 
• Record purchases, sales, invoices and expenses accurately and on time. 

Statutory Compliance 

• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure full, timely GST compliance. 
• Calculate TDS, file TDS returns and maintain the related documentation. 
• Track statutory due dates so no return or payment is missed. 

Payroll, PF & ESI 

• Prepare monthly salary sheets and handle payroll-related accounting entries. 
• Manage PF and ESI calculations, deductions, contributions, filings and compliance. 

Reconciliation, Closing & Audit 

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts and other financial records regularly. 
• Support monthly closing and prepare financial reports for management. 
• Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and statutory audits. 

Coordination 

• Work with internal teams, consultants and external agencies on accounting and compliance matters. 

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field. 
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance. 
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF and ESI, including return filing. 
• Hands-on experience preparing salary sheets and payroll calculations. 
• Proficiency in Tally (or similar accounting software) and MS Excel. 
• Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills. 
• Well organised, with sharp attention to detail and a record of meeting deadlines.
