Accountant/ Accounts Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel, capable of handling end-to-end accounting operations including finalization of accounts, statutory audits, and GST compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

•     Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in Tally ERP (Prime / ERP 9).

•     Maintain ledgers, journal entries, and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.

•     Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Finalization of Accounts

•     Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

•     Ensure books are closed accurately and on time in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

•     Coordinate with senior management for review and sign-off of finalized accounts.

Audit Support

•     Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.

•     Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary information in a timely manner.

•     Identify and address audit observations; implement corrective action plans.

GST Compliance

•     Prepare and file GST returns accurately — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual GSTR-9/9C.

•     Reconcile GST liability as per books vs. GSTN portal on a monthly basis.

•     Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims and ensure timely reversals where applicable.

•     Stay updated on GST amendments and ensure business compliance accordingly.

Educational Qualifications

•     B.Com / M.Com (mandatory).

•     CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.

•     Candidates who have completed articleship are encouraged to apply.
