Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to sell Alibaba.com membership packages and digital export solutions to manufacturers, exporters, SMEs, and business owners. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, client meetings, product pitching, closures, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach manufacturers, exporters, wholesalers, and SMEs for Alibaba.com package sales.
- Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Explain Alibaba.com membership plans, benefits, and global trade opportunities to clients.
- Conduct product presentations and business meetings with decision-makers.
- Convert prospects into paid customers through effective sales pitches and follow-ups.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for renewals and upselling.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Update CRM with daily sales activities, meetings, and closures.
- Coordinate with onboarding and support teams for smooth client activation.
- Stay updated with market trends, B2B e-commerce, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Graduate in any stream (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
- 0–3 years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, inside sales, or digital sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can also apply.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with field sales and client meetings.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, exports, or digital marketing is an advantage.
- Must own a bike and valid driving license (preferred).
