Job Title: Cafe Supervisor / Customer Experience Executive

About the RoleCafe Central is looking for a smart, friendly and responsible Cafe Supervisor / Customer Experience Executive to manage day-to-day front-of-house operations and ensure customers have a smooth and welcoming experience.

This is a hands-on role. You will supervise cafe operations, help customers with ordering and payments, coordinate with kitchen staff, monitor Petpooja POS/QR orders, and actively support the team during busy hours.

• Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and provide a friendly cafe experience.
• Help customers order using QR menu / Petpooja.
• Handle customer queries, payments and order-related issues.
• Monitor Petpooja POS, QR orders and order status.
• Coordinate between customers, kitchen and service staff.
• Ensure ready orders are delivered to the correct table/customer.
• Support food/drink service during peak hours when required.
• Handle takeaway and delivery-order exceptions.
• Maintain opening and closing checklists.
• Monitor cleanliness and presentation of the cafe.
• Coordinate daily work with kitchen and cleaning staff.
• Keep track of basic stock shortages and inform management.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Share a simple daily sales/operations update with management.
• Ensure discounts, cancellations and cash transactions follow cafe rules.
• Candidate RequirementsGood communication skills in Hindi; basic English preferred.
• Friendly, confident and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Comfortable using smartphones, apps and digital payments.
• Willing to learn Petpooja POS and QR ordering systems.
• Responsible, punctual and organised.
• Able to handle a small team and work independently.
• Comfortable working during evening and weekend peak hours.
• Previous cafe, restaurant, QSR, retail or customer-service experience is preferred but not compulsory.
