Role Overview:

We are looking for a Dispatch & Logistics Executive to manage both inward and outward transportation, coordinate with transporters, arrange vehicles, negotiate freight, and ensure timely movement of raw materials and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward transportation requirements.
• Arrange vehicles for raw materials, finished goods, warehouse transfers, and customer deliveries.
• Speak with transporters for vehicle availability and freight quotations.
• Compare and negotiate freight rates before finalizing vehicles.
• Ensure timely vehicle placement at supplier, factory, warehouse, or customer locations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, purchase, production, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Track vehicles from pickup until final delivery.
• Handle transport delays, breakdowns, vehicle shortages, and urgent requirements.
• Maintain a reliable network of transporters and backup vehicle providers.
• Maintain route-wise and transporter-wise freight records.
• Verify freight bills against agreed rates.
• Maintain inward/outward dispatch records and transport documents.
• Follow up for LR/GR, POD, e-way bills, invoices, and delivery confirmation.
• Monitor loading, unloading, waiting time, and detention charges.
• Required SkillsStrong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience dealing with transporters and drivers.
• Knowledge of local and interstate transportation.
• Good follow-up and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
• Understanding of LR/GR, POD, e-way bills, and transport documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple dispatches independently.
