Job Description
oversees the design, operation, and maintenance of high-voltage power distribution, heavy industrial machinery, and automated control systems to ensure safe and continuous production
Steel Melt Shop (SMS): Maintain electric arc/induction furnaces, ladles, and power stability during high-load melting phases.
Power Distribution & Substation Management
Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize unplanned plant downtime and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
Safety & Compliance: Enforce plant electrical safety, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) rules.
Energy Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor power factor, curb energy waste, and optimize electrical loads
Rolling Mills (Hot/Cold): Manage main drives, AC/DC motors, reheating furnaces, roughing/finishing stands, and run-out tables.
Continuous Casting Machine (CCM): Support electrical panels, drives, and sensor systems for continuous strand casting.
Automation & Control Systems: Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), SCADA, and Level 1/Level 2 automation setups
