Housekeeping Staff

Key Responsibilities:-

• Room Cleaning: Dusting furniture, lamps, and surfaces; cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms; making beds; vacuuming carpets and cleaning floors. 
• Public Area Maintenance: Keeping hallways, lobbies, and other common areas clean, dust-free, and welcoming. 
• Laundry Services: Washing, drying, and ironing linens, towels, and other guest-related laundry. 
• Restocking Supplies: Replenishing toiletries, paper products, linens, and other consumable items in rooms and restrooms. 
• Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of trash and replacing liners in bins. 
• Maintenance & Reporting: Identifying and reporting any damage, wear, or maintenance issues, such as faulty light fixtures, to management. 
• Guest Services: Responding to guests' requests for additional items or assistance, and providing friendly, engaging service. 
• Safety & Sanitation: Adhering to all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe environment for everyone. 

Typical Work Environment:-

• Locations: Hotels, motels, hospitals, residential homes, dormitories, and other hospitality or care facilities. 
• Tasks: Involves physical work like lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. 
• Hazards: May involve exposure to chemicals, dust, and other potential hazards, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
