Job Description
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
Handle cash and bank transactions and maintain proper records.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation.
Support monthly closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
Track outstanding payments and receivables/payables.
Verify bills, expenses, and supporting documents.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Coordinate with other departments regarding billing and financial data.
Perform any other accounting-related tasks assigned by the senior accountant or management.
