Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, receive and properly label patient samples.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per standard procedures.
- Handle and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure accuracy of test results and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow SOPs, quality control and safety procedures.
- Identify and report abnormal or inconsistent samples/results to the concerned senior.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper storage of samples and reagents.
- Maintain daily laboratory records and reports.
- Coordinate with doctors, pathologists and other laboratory staff as required.
- Ensure timely processing and reporting of samples.
Candidate Profile
- DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology) or relevant qualification.
- 1–4 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory, hospital or pathology centre.
- Knowledge of routine pathology and diagnostic laboratory procedures.
- Good understanding of sample handling and laboratory safety.
- Careful, disciplined and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in shifts, if required.
