Key Responsibilities

A. House Cleaning & Hygiene

• Sweeping, mopping and dusting of designated areas.
• Cleaning bedrooms, living areas, bathrooms and other household spaces as agreed.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of household items and commonly used areas.
• Washing and maintaining utensils and kitchen surfaces.
• Proper segregation and disposal of household waste.
• Maintaining overall household hygiene and cleanliness.

B. Kitchen Support

• Basic preparation of vegetables, groceries and ingredients.
• Assistance with preparation of regular household meals.
• Cooking, where specifically included in the agreed scope of work.
• Cleaning kitchen utensils, platforms and cooking areas.
• Maintaining appropriate food and kitchen hygiene.

C. Baby/Child Care – Where Applicable

• Assisting with routine care and supervision of the child.
• Helping with bathing, dressing, feeding and maintaining the child's belongings, as specifically agreed.
• Maintaining cleanliness of baby/child-related items.
• Immediately informing the parent/guardian about any unusual situation, injury, illness or concern.
• The House Help shall not administer medicines or undertake medical procedures unless specifically authorised and appropriately qualified.

D. Elderly/Family Support – Where Applicable

• Providing basic non-medical assistance such as companionship, mobility support and assistance with routine household activities.
• Promptly informing the family of any emergency or concern.
• Medical, nursing or clinical duties are outside the scope unless separately contracted with an appropriately qualified caregiver.

E. Other Household Assistance

• Laundry and ironing, where included in the agreed service package.
• Grocery or household errands, where specifically agreed.
• Pet-care assistance, where specifically included in the placement terms.
• Other reasonable household duties mutually agreed between the Client and Helping Hands.
