Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will be responsible for various accounting functions, including Tally Accounting, GST filing, accounts management, and utilizing MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of success in a similar role. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Utilize Tally Accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with GST regulations and timely submission. Perform periodic financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support management decision-making. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices in accounting and financial management. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filing processes. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, as needed. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, and implement necessary adjustments to accounting practices.
