Senior Non Motor Underwriter

We have an urgent hiring requirement for the below positions at RMIB Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur.

 Lead / Principal Non-Motor Underwriter (8-10 Years)

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Experience: 8-10 years in non-motor insurance

Package: As per industry norms

About the Role

You will lead non-motor underwriting for the Rajasthan region. You will handle complex and high-value risks, mentor the team and work closely with insurers, sales and claims teams to deliver the best solutions for clients.

What You Will Do· Evaluate and place complex non-motor risks across property, liability, marine and specialty lines.

· Analyse coverage needs and pricing, and finalise the right terms and conditions.

· Lead, train and mentor junior and senior underwriters.

· Train new joiners on processes and best practices.

· Support sales and business development in complex client discussions.

· Review and improve pricing strategy based on market conditions, competition and emerging risks.

· Work with insurers to arrange customised products and contingent policies.

· Coordinate with the claims team and review claims trends to suggest risk management steps.

· Track industry trends and give input for developing or improving insurance products.

· Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.

What We Are Looking For· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Insurance, Finance or a related field.

· 8-10 years of non-motor experience, with a focus on property, liability or marine.

· Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team.

· Strong analytical, risk assessment and decision-making skills.

· Excellent communication and relationship skills with insurers and clients.

· In-depth knowledge of insurance products, market dynamics and regulations.

· Proficiency in underwriting software and MS Office.

Good to Have·

Associate or Fellow, Insurance Institute of India.

· Existing relationships with insurance company underwriters.

Candidates with relevant Non-Motor/Commercial Insurance Underwriting experience will be preferred.

Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days will be given preference
