Video Editor

Jaipur Times is looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our digital media team in Jaipur.

The candidate will be responsible for editing news reports, interviews, reels, shorts, and other digital video content for Jaipur Times' website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit news reports, interviews, field videos, reels, shorts, and digital content.

• Create professional and engaging videos suitable for YouTube and social media.

• Add headlines, captions, graphics, transitions, music, and other visual elements where required.

• Perform basic audio correction, colour correction, and video enhancement.

• Convert raw footage into clear and engaging news stories.

• Create short-form content from longer news videos and interviews.

• Coordinate with reporters, anchors, and the editorial team.

• Handle urgent and breaking-news video edits with quick turnaround.

• Maintain Jaipur Times' visual style and content quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant video-editing experience.

• Good knowledge of professional video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of graphics and thumbnail creation will be preferred.

• Understanding of YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and digital-media formats.

• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, audio, and visuals.

• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a newsroom environment.
