Store Keeper

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records of food ingredients, beverages, housekeeping supplies, toiletries, linen, stationery and other hotel consumables.
2. Material Receiving: Receive goods from vendors, verify quantities, quality, expiry dates and purchase orders against invoices and delivery challans.
3. Stock Issuing: Issue materials to Kitchen, Restaurant, Housekeeping and other departments against approved requisitions and maintain proper records.
4. Stock Monitoring: Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels, monitor daily consumption and raise purchase requests to avoid shortages or overstocking.
5. Stock Verification: Conduct regular physical stock checks, reconcile actual stock with records and report shortages, excess stock or discrepancies to management.
6. Expiry & Wastage Control: Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices, monitor expiry dates and prevent wastage, spoilage, damage and pilferage.
7. Store Maintenance: Ensure proper storage, cleanliness, labelling, temperature control and systematic arrangement of all materials as per hygiene and safety standards.
8. Vendor & Purchase Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and the Purchase/Accounts departments regarding deliveries, pending orders, returns and invoice discrepancies.
9. Reporting: Prepare daily stock receipt and issue reports, consumption reports, purchase requirements and monthly inventory statements.
10. Cost Control: Monitor unusual consumption, investigate stock variances and assist management in controlling food, beverage and housekeeping costs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.
• Experience: 2–3 years in hotel, restaurant or hospitality store operations preferred.
• Computer Skills: MS Excel and inventory management software.
• Knowledge: Stock registers, purchase orders, GRN, FIFO/FEFO and inventory reconciliation.
• Other Skills: Numerical accuracy, honesty, organisation, attention to detail and coordination.
