Job Description
Key Responsibilities :-
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance.
- Prepare and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts.
- Review and approve purchase orders and procurement contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities with inventory and operations teams.
- Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Collaborate with production, finance, warehouse, and other departments to support operational needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare purchasing reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical procurement practices.
