Job Description
Job Title: Accountant / Factory Accounts
Location: Factory / Office location (specify industrial area or locality)
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹35,000 / month (adjust based on required experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant for our handicraft manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will handle daily factory accounts, billing, GST compliance, inventory records, and vendor/buyer reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledger entries, and cash flow records in TallyPrime / ERP.
- Prepare GST invoices, e-Way bills, export documentation, and assist with GST & TDS returns.
- Manage vendor payment schedules, raw material billing, and artisan/worker payroll records.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist external CAs during quarterly audits.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or relevant accounting degree.
- Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience (prior experience in manufacturing, exports, or handicrafts preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency in TallyPrime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), GST & e-Way bill portals.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with factory bookkeeping.
