Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Laser Cutting Machine Operator for our furniture manufacturing factory.
The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in operating sheet metal laser cutting machines and should be able to handle production independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser cutting machine for MS, CRCA and SS sheets.
- Set machine parameters according to material thickness and cutting requirements.
- Read and understand fabrication/shop drawings.
- Handle sheet loading, unloading and job setting.
- Select programs and carry out nesting as per production requirements.
- Ensure accurate cutting dimensions and good edge finish.
- Reduce material wastage and improve sheet utilization.
- Check finished components for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform daily machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot basic machine alarms and operating issues.
- Maintain daily production records.
- Coordinate with fabrication, bending and production teams.
