QHSE

To ensure food safety, product quality, occupational health and safety, hygiene, sanitation, and environmental compliance across central kitchen operations and client-site kitchens. The QHSE Executive shall monitor daily operations, implement company policies and statutory requirements, identify risks, and maintain compliance with applicable standards.

• Monitor food preparation, cooking, cooling, storage, packing, transportation, and serving processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI requirements, food safety standards, and client specifications.
• Verify food handlers' personal hygiene, uniforms, head caps, gloves, and other required protective equipment.
• Monitor food temperatures, cooking temperatures, cold storage temperatures, and food holding conditions.
• Check raw materials, expiry dates, batch details, storage conditions, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, storage areas, and serving counters.
• Monitor pest-control activities, potable water quality, waste disposal, and sanitation practices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitisation of equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and food-contact areas.
• Monitor food sampling, retention samples, traceability, and records wherever applicable.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• B. Health and SafetyConduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure the safe handling of gas systems, electrical equipment, hot surfaces, sharp tools, and kitchen machinery.
• Verify the availability and accessibility of fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, emergency exits, and safety signage.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, near misses, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the concerned department.
• Support incident investigations and recommend corrective measures.
• Conduct safety awareness sessions and emergency preparedness activities.
• C. Environmental ManagementMonitor proper segregation and disposal of wet waste, dry waste, and other applicable waste categories.
• Ensure responsible use of water, electricity, cleaning chemicals, and other resources.
• Verify that waste storage and disposal practices comply with applicable requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor drainage, housekeeping, and prevention of environmental contamination.
