Job Description – CounsellorPosition: Counsellor

Location: Kapurthala, Punjab

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary & IncentivesBase Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Incentives: Performance-based incentives, approximately ₹18,000 per month based on targets and performance.

• Job ResponsibilitiesCounsel and guide prospective students/customers regarding available programs and services.
• Understand candidates’ requirements and recommend suitable options.
• Handle walk-in enquiries, incoming calls, leads, and follow-ups.
• Maintain regular follow-up with interested candidates and convert leads into admissions/enrolments.
• Explain courses/programs, fees, eligibility, processes, and other relevant information clearly.
• Achieve monthly counselling, admission, and conversion targets.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
• Coordinate with the sales, admissions, and operations teams when required.
• Build positive relationships with candidates and provide professional support throughout the admission process.
• Follow up on pending documentation and payments where required.
• Candidate RequirementsGood communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident personality with strong convincing and counselling skills.
• Comfortable handling calls, walk-ins, and follow-ups.
• Target-oriented and motivated to earn incentives.
• Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
• Previous experience in counselling, admissions, education, sales, telecalling, or a similar role will be preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication and convincing skills may also apply.
