Job Description

A Google Pay (GPay) Team Leader manages field sales or merchant operations teams to drive local merchant acquisition, soundbox deployments, and onboarding for digital payments.



Role Overview

  • Role Type: Full-time, on-site field or operational role.
  • Team Size: Usually manages 10 to 20+ field executives or Business Development Executives (BDEs).
  • Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of team-handling or field sales experience, preferably in Fintech.

Requirements & Skills

  • Communication: Proficiency in local/regional languages (read, write, speak).
  • Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler vehicle for local market visits.
  • Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the assigned geographical area and local retail market.
  • Education: Graduate preferred.
