Reporting To: Plant Manager / Crusher In-charge

Location: Crusher Plant

1. Job PurposeTo accurately weigh all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished materials, including aggregates, metal, M-sand, and other crusher products, while maintaining proper records of vehicle movements, weight slips, and dispatch details.

• Weigh all incoming and outgoing vehicles carrying raw materials, aggregates, M-sand, and other materials.
• Record the vehicle's gross weight, tare weight, and net weight accurately.
• Ensure vehicles are properly positioned on the weighbridge before recording the weight.
• Generate weighment slips for every vehicle transaction.

1. Documentation and Record Maintenance

• Maintain daily weighbridge registers and computer records.
• Record vehicle number, date, time, customer/supplier name, material type, and quantity.
• Maintain records of inward materials, outward dispatches, and stock transfers.
• Ensure all weighment slips and supporting documents are properly filed.

1. Dispatch Coordination
2. 
   

• Coordinate with the sales, dispatch, plant, and security teams for vehicle movement.
• Verify delivery challans, invoices, dispatch orders, and other required documents before dispatch, as per company procedures.
• Ensure the correct material and quantity are recorded against each vehicle.
• Report discrepancies in weight or documentation to the concerned supervisor immediately.

1. System and Equipment Handling

• Operate the weighbridge software, computer, printer, and related equipment.
• Ensure correct data entry and avoid duplicate or incorrect weighment entries.
• Report technical problems, system errors, or weighbridge malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain proper control of weighment records and prevent unauthorized changes.

1. Control and Compliance

• Prevent unauthorized weighment, manipulation of weights, and irregular vehicle movements.
• Follow company procedures for zero-weight checks, repeat weighments, and unusual weight variations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable weighbridge verification and stamping requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of company records and dispatch information.

1. Daily Reporting

• Prepare daily reports of total inward and outward vehicle movements and material quantities.
• Submit weighment and dispatch summaries to the Plant Manager / Crusher In-charge.
• Report any shortages, excess quantities, suspicious activities, or discrepancies immediately.
• 3. Educational QualificationMinimum: 10th or 12th pass.
• Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Excel and weighbridge software is preferred.
• 4. Experience1–2 years of experience in weighbridge operations, preferably in a stone crusher, quarry, mining, cement, or construction materials industry.
• Freshers with good computer knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.
• 5. Required SkillsAccuracy in weight recording and data entry.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Honesty, alertness, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in shifts and at a crusher plant location.

• Maintain discipline and punctuality at the plant.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Plant Manager or management.
