CNC Turning Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turning Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and programming CNC turning machines, with a strong understanding of NC programming and the ability to set up machines for production runs.

Responsibilities:

·        Operate CNC turning machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications

·        Understand and interpret NC programs to set up and operate machines

·        Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards

·        Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste

·        Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow

·        Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and best practices

Requirements:

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and programming CNC turning machines

·        Strong understanding of NC programming and ability to set up machines for production runs

·        Experience with precision measuring instruments and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

·        Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machinery

·        Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

·        Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
