Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Workshop Manager to manage day-to-day operations of our Car Wash and Auto Detailing Workshop. The candidate will be responsible for handling employees, managing customer interactions, explaining detailing services, coordinating vehicle jobs, maintaining payments and accounts, and supporting business growth through local marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Employee & Workshop Management

• Manage and supervise Car Wash and Detailing staff.
• Allocate daily work and monitor employee performance.
• Ensure proper quality of washing, detailing and other services.
• Maintain discipline, attendance and productivity of employees.
• Coordinate between the wash team, detailing team and customers.
• Ensure workshop cleanliness, safety and proper workflow.

2. Customer Handling & Sales

• Greet and professionally handle walk-in customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable services.
• Clearly explain services such as:
• Car Wash
• Interior Deep Cleaning
• Car Detailing
• Paint Correction
• Ceramic Coating
• Teflon Coating
• PPF (Paint Protection Film)
• Other premium car care services
• Explain service benefits, pricing and estimated completion time.
• Follow up with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Generate service upselling and conversion opportunities.

3. Billing & Accounts

• Receive customer payments through Cash / UPI / Online payments.
• Maintain daily collection records.
• Enter sales, expenses and customer transactions accurately in Tally.
• Maintain basic accounts and daily financial records.
• Prepare daily collection and sales reports.
• Ensure proper documentation of customer and vehicle details.

4. Marketing & Business Development

• Support local marketing activities to increase workshop customers.
• Develop and execute local marketing strategies.
• Visit nearby apartments, offices, car dealerships, corporate offices and other potential customer locations for business development.
• Generate leads for detailing, ceramic coating, PPF and other premium services.
• Build relationships with repeat and potential customers.
• Support promotional campaigns and referral programs.
• Required SkillsGood customer handling and communication skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Car Wash and Auto Detailing services.
• Basic sales and convincing skills.
• Basic knowledge of Tally / accounting software.
• Good computer and MS Excel skills.
• Ability to manage a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to participate in outdoor marketing and business development activities.
• Honest, responsible and customer-oriented attitude.
• Preferred CandidateExperience in Car Wash, Auto Detailing, Automobile Service Centre, Car Accessories or similar industry will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in sales + customer handling + team management are also encouraged to apply.
• Two-wheeler driving licence would be an advantage for outdoor marketing activities.
