Travel Consultant

As a Travel Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for travellers enquiring about our tours. Your role is to understand their travel requirements, guide them through suitable itineraries, answer their questions, and help them confidently plan their trip with Journeys & Frames.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicates clearly, and believes that great customer service naturally leads to successful sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach out to inbound leads via WhatsApp, phone calls, and social media.
• Understand travellers' requirements and recommend suitable tour packages.
• Share itineraries, pricing, inclusions, and travel information.
• Answer customer queries professionally and promptly.
• Build trust with potential travellers through genuine consultation.
• Follow up with leads regularly until they make a booking decision.
• Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and follow-ups using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Coordinate with the operations team whenever required to ensure a smooth booking experience.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel packages.
• Friendly, patient, and confident personality.
• Passion for travel (knowledge of Northeast India will be an added advantage).
• Self-motivated, responsible, and target-oriented.
• Good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Prior experience in travel sales, hospitality, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Probation

The selected candidate will undergo a 3-month probation period. Confirmation as a full-time employee will be based on overall performance, professionalism, communication skills, and the ability to convert enquiries into bookings.
