Van Driver

We are looking for a reliable, multi-skilled Driver cum Van Sales Executive to handle daily product transport, beat-wise delivery routes, and direct counter-sales. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the company vehicle safely across assigned routes, delivering orders to retail shops, identifying new selling opportunities, and managing basic daily cash collections.

Key Responsibilities1. Driving & Vehicle Maintenance

• Drive company delivery vehicles (commercial vans/light motor vehicles) safely following all traffic laws and transport regulations.
• Ensure timely loading, unloading, and safe transportation of products from the warehouse to client locations.
• Perform routine daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs promptly.

2. Van Sales & Business Development

• Execute daily beat-wise route coverage to visit retail outlets, hardware shops, and local dealers.
• Pitch, demonstrate, and sell stock directly from the van to existing and potential retail customers.
• Identify new retail prospects along your daily route to expand market reach.
• Distribute promotional material and inform shop managers about ongoing trade schemes or new product launches.

3. Delivery, Billing & Cash Collections

• Hand over correct invoice quantities to dealers and obtain signed delivery receipts/acknowledgments.
• Collect cash or payment receipts for goods sold/delivered as per authorized credit terms.
• Maintain precise daily logs of inventory loaded, stock sold, returns, and cash collected.
• Hand over daily route collections and activity reports to the management at the end of each shift.
• Requirements & QualificationsEducation: 10th standard pass or above (Higher secondary preferred).
• License: Must possess a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) Driving License with a clean driving record. (Commercial badge/license is a plus).
• Experience: 1–3 years of prior experience in driving, van sales, FMCG delivery, or direct retail sales.

• Skills:

• Good knowledge of local routes in Ernakulam and nearby districts.
• Basic math skills for billing, stock counting, and handling daily cash collections.
• Clear communication skills in Malayalam (basic English reading capability for invoices/labels is required).
• Punctual, trustworthy, and physically fit for stock loading/unloading tasks.
