Credit Assessment & Underwriting

• Analyze loan applications and assess customer eligibility.
• Evaluate income, repayment capacity, credit history, and financial stability.
• Conduct personal discussions and field investigations where required.
• Verify customer information, documents, and references.
• Recommend approval, rejection, or modification of loan proposals.

Documentation & Verification

• Ensure completion and accuracy of all loan documents.
• Verify KYC, income proofs, banking details, and collateral documents.
• Conduct fraud checks and identify potential risks.
• Maintain proper credit files and records.

Risk Management

• Assess credit risk and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
• Monitor exceptions and deviations from standard credit norms.
• Identify early warning signals and recommend corrective actions.
• Support portfolio quality improvement initiatives.

Portfolio Monitoring

• Track performance of approved loan accounts.
• Monitor overdue and delinquent accounts.
• Coordinate with collections teams for risk mitigation and recovery actions.
• Review customer repayment behavior periodically.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, internal credit policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Ensure compliance with all risk and operational controls.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Collection teams.
• Provide credit-related guidance to branch staff.
• Assist in achieving business growth while maintaining portfolio quality.
