Account Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, and ledger maintenance.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in Tally/ERP systems.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS reports, financial statements, expense reports, and management reports.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of operating budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle monthly and year-end closing activities, including provisions, accruals, and necessary adjustments.
• Ensure timely and accurate GST returns, TDS returns, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Monitor statutory payments and ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide the required documents, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting information for audits.
• Review accounting entries, invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing, payment, accounting, and reconciliation-related issues.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and support timely collection/payment processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all accounting and financial transactions.
• Assist in developing and improving accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
• Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related reports as required.
• Supervise and coordinate with junior accounting team members and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial and accounting information.
• Perform any other accounts and finance-related responsibilities assigned by management.
