We are looking for an experienced Fast Food Cook for Medha Resort who can independently prepare and manage the fast-food items available on our current menu.

Job Location: Medha Resort, Raghunathganj, Murshidabad

Working Time: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Main Cooking Responsibilities

The cook should be able to prepare the following menu categories consistently and quickly:

• Starters & Pakora: Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Crispy Chilli Paneer, Chicken Pakora, Paneer Pakora, Veg Pakora Mix
• Rolls & Wraps: Egg Roll, Chicken Roll, Paneer Roll, Double Egg Chicken Roll, Veg Roll
• Rice & Breads: Chicken Biryani, Veg Biryani, Steamed Rice, Tarka Roti
• Quick Bites: French Fries, Peri Peri Fries, Masala Fries
• Chinese Items: Veg Hakka Noodles, Chicken Hakka Noodles, Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken Dry, Chilli Paneer Dry, Veg Manchurian Dry

The candidate should also be able to coordinate with the beverage/service team for orders involving tea, coffee, mocktails, refreshments, and desserts.

Key Duties

• Prepare food according to standard recipe, taste, portion, and presentation.
• Handle Indian fast food, Chinese fast food, rolls, fried snacks, biryani, and basic tandoor/tikka preparation.
• Maintain consistent taste and quality for every order.
• Manage mise-en-place before restaurant opening.
• Marinate chicken and paneer properly and prepare sauces, gravies, chutneys, and fillings in advance.
• Control frying temperature and oil quality.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, FIFO, refrigeration, and hygiene.
• Monitor raw-material consumption and reduce food wastage.
• Coordinate with waiters/stewards for timely order preparation.
• Keep kitchen counters, burners, fryer, utensils, chopping area, and storage area clean.
• Follow food-safety and personal-hygiene standards.
• Support stock checking and inform management about low-stock ingredients.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Fast Food Cook / Chinese Cook / Restaurant Cook / Commis is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable handling multiple orders during busy hours and should know basic food costing, portion control, kitchen hygiene, and preparation planning.

Preference will be given to candidates who can independently handle Chinese + Rolls + Pakora/Starters + Biryani + Fries rather than depending on separate cooks for each section.

Preferred Skills

Chinese cooking, roll making, fryer handling, chicken/paneer starters, biryani preparation, knife skills, sauce preparation, marination, plating, portion control, stock management and kitchen hygiene.
